There’s a lot of free advise floating around online on How to get rid of skin tags. Some of it good…some not so good.

One article suggested that I just cut it off. Well call me a chicken or anything else for that matter but I just don’t have the guts to take a pair of scizzors and cut my body. It is not just the pain that I am worried about, it’s also the blood stopping techniques the article goes on to describe.

There has to be a better less brutal way to remove skin tags…

Here are two ways I found that seem…well…a little less brutal.

First way to get rid of skin tags is to use fingernail polish. For obvious reasons you will want to use clear. Apply it to your tag mole at least twice a day. Make sure you cover it completely. Try not to miss applications because it can slow the removal process.

In a few days you will see the tag mole start to shrink and in time you will be able to just scratch it off. Try to be very accurate with the finger nail polish because you may experience some minor skin irritation if you get it on your skin.

Another way to remove skin tags is to tie a string around them. Ok…I know this sounds really silly but it actually works. The pressure of the string will strangle the tag mole. Depending on how stubborn the little booger is it should start to dry up and fall of in a few days to a couple of weeks.

It is true, from some cases addiction recovery seems like a ongoing struggle that never ends.

But it pulls a chain along, one that is connected to a much smaller sprocket (with fewer teeth to grip each link of the chain) in the center of your bike’s rear wheel. This smaller sprocket moves around a number of times for each single turn of your pedals, moving your bike wheels a lot faster than you’re moving your feet!

Some bicycles have several “speeds,” which means that they have a number of gears (called derailleurs) that vary the rate at which their wheels turn. These extra sprockets are located at the pedals and rear wheel of a bike, where levers move the driving chain sideways, from one to another. A special spring system keeps the chain tight when it changes from a larger to a smaller sprocket. Although you might think that a rider would always want the wheels of his or her bike to move as fast as possible for each pedal turn, that is not always the case. When going uphill, for instance, a rider can get more force out of a wheel that turns fewer times, making the task easier.

In order to turn right or left, all you have to do is turn the handlebar to the desired side, isn’t it? Wrong! Cyclists turn using their body weight, the handlebar is just for counterbalancing. In fact, in order to run left, you turn a little to the right at first, which will push your weight to the left. This is called countersteering and takes places instinctively. Now to actually do this stomach exercise correctly you need to suck your tummy in and picture pulling your belly button up and to the back toward your spine. Steam in this condition is termed Just Dry. Departures from this condition result in inefficient sterilizing operation!

Autoclave Pours Cycle Requirements:Air Removal:The adequate removal of air is the first essential in the sterilisation of textiles; air is removed by a vacuum pump which reduces the absolute pressure of air in the chamber to a value of a few millimetres of mercury column before steam is admitted. This is often described as drawing an almost perfect vacuum, and it means removing more than 98 percentof the air initially present. It must be emphasised that during the preconditioning stage it is imperative that the set vacuum points are met via actual chamber vacuum and not via a timing source as vacuum set points are load dependant and load variable. Departures from the recommended means of measuring vacuum set points can cause inadequate air removal.

Timing:When the steam has reached the correct set sterilizing temperate, sufficient time must be allowed for the physical changes that kill the bacteria and their spores to take place throughout the load; it is these changes that constitute the sterilizing process. Times corresponding to different temperatures have been given by Perkins as follows: 2min s at 132OC and 12min s at 121 OC.To allow for deviations in steam quality a further (safety) period is added. Adapting Perkins figures (above) Medi-Clave recommend the following times and temperatures as a minimum:4 min s at 134OC and 15 mins at 121OC.

Drying:At the end of the sterilizing phase it is necessary to dry the load without re-contaminating it.The state of dryness of the load will be fixed by the equilibrium established between the vapour pressure over the load and the pressure in the chamber the lower the chamber pressure the more rapid will be the boiling off of the water. At this stage practically no air should be present in the chamber. If dressings have not been made grossly wet by inadequately dried steam, the mere attaining of the vacuum should be sufficient to achieve drying without a need to maintain it! Twitter, the social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length, has no-doubt become quite a phenomenon. It is widely rumored that Twitter turned down an acquisition offer from Facebook for $500 Million. A recent TechCrunch report stated that Twitter’s valuation has reached in excess of $250 Million. There are reports that state that the reach of Twitter has exceeded that of Digg in a very short span of time.  With an excess of 5 Million users and over 50 Million monthly visits, everyone’s tweeting!

Needless to say, what’s made Twitter a revolution is its ease of use.  From signup to search, from following others to getting followed by others, to tweet or to retweet, to use the web or the phone, Twitter is just plain simple.  Add to this the power of Twitter APIs, there are hundreds of tools, utilities and apps that continue to spring from nowhere.  Today, there is a twitter tool just about to do anything you want on twitter.

Some use twitter for chit-chat.  Ranging from “I just got up, and am off to a shower” to “Please get out and vote for me”, much is being said in 140 characters or less.  Folks are asking questions and people in hundreds respond.  Advertisers market their products, Affilaites promote products, News sources announce breaking news and Bloggers post their blogs as tweets – whether for personal or for business, Twitter is seen everywhere and used by everyone.

It has never been easier to build a network of followers.  Never before has it been so easy to build a network of a 1,000 followers who follow what you have to say and are ready to receive a message from you.  And best of all, it costs nothing to do it!  Just think about what you would have to do to get a following of a 1,000 people – whether it is cold calling, or mail advertisement, or opt-in email marketing or a paid squeeze page lead capture – it takes a lot of time, money and effort.

The benefits being obvious, everyone is looking to build a wide follower base.  There is a widely prevalent phenomenon on Twitter that is increasing in popularity – “Follow Me and I will Follow You Back“.  This simply means that if you follow me on twitter, I will follow you right back.  There are two schools of thought on this.

The first school of thought is that it is not appropriate to follow everyone that follows you.  The second school of thought obviously thinks not.  The idea of not following everyone that follow you has some logic to it.  You could think of some parallels to this – “Buy my product, I will buy your product back” or “Subscribe to my newsletter, I will subscribe to your newsletter back”.  One could also argue that if you follow 1,000’s of people, you really can’t do justice, as multiple tweets from each one (assuming each one is active) would just be information overload and you simply can’t follow any tweet, giving it justice.  Both of these arguments could be argued as having some merit.  But, also not.

Think for a moment why people use Twitter.  True, one of the primary objectives is for you say what you are doing now and for others to tune in (or “follow”), but Twitter can be used for reasons well beyond that.  Twitter is a wonderful networking tool, where you can build relationships with others and communicate not just now, but for months and years to come.  You can sure tweet for the moment, but you can just as well message the other person in private.  And if it is true that Twitter is a social networking tool, and if others have something of value to offer to you in return, there is nothing unusual about you tuning into their message as well.  After all, you only stand to benefit!

The school of thought that says “Follow Me and I will Follow You Back” does has merit.  Just because two parties follow each other, there is no commitment or obligation.  Either party can ignore tweets, or can search through tweets by name, by RSS feeds or utilizing one of the infinite tools available, if the ongoing tweets are missed.  Either party can message each other, and either party can choose to review or ignore such messages.  And if one does not wants to be bothered, that could be done as well.  Worst case, one could unfollow and/or block others as well. Just as anything else in life, if you use the tool effectively, you will only stand to benefit.

Twitter is real.  Twitter works.  Twitter is the tool of the century – probably bigger and better than any other Social Networking or Web 2.0 tool.  Embrace it!

And if “Follow” bothers you, because you simply can’t follow 1,000’s of people (which I agree with and in that context, Twitter allowing one to follow 2,000 people may not make sense either, unless most are not active, in which case they should not be on Twitter in the first place!), then follow others on Twitter (and be followed) so you can use it to “Send and Receive Messages“.   Again, there is no better tool, whether online or offline, that allows you to be able to send and receive messages to such a wide audience that has mutually agreed to receive and send messages to each other.

If you agree with this thought process, maybe we should rephrase the theme to “Receive Me and I will Receive You Back“.    And, maybe we are not just talking Twitter, but rather an enhanced Twitter, one that is naturally Two-way, maybe we are talking Twowitter

Tryptophan like most food supplements, such as amino acids, are often manufactured by fermentative processes, in which large quantities of bacteria are grown in vats, and the food supplement is extracted from the bacteria and purified. One amino acid, tryptophan has been produced in this way for many years.

In the late 1980′s the company Showa Denko K.K. decided to use genetic engineering to accelerate and increase the efficiency of tryptophan production. They genetically engineered bacteria by inserting several genes that caused the bacteria to release certain enzymes at much higher levels than normal and to release other enzymes that are not normally present in the original bacteria.

The enzymes released in these bacteria through genetic engineering altered cellular metabolism substantially, leading to greatly increased production of tryptophan. These genetically engineered bacteria were immediately used in commercial production of L-Tryptophan, and the product placed on the market in the USA in 1988. According to US law, Showa Denko was allowed to sell the tryptophan produced in genetically engineered bacteria without safety testing because they and other companies had been selling tryptophan produced in non-genetically engineered bacteria for years without ill effects.

It was considered that the method of production (whether via natural or genetically engineered bacteria) was immaterial and that, since tryptophan had already been shown to be safe, the new material needed no testing. In effect they considered it substantially equivalent to the tryptophan that had been sold for many years. Little did they know that some batchs of the amino acid because contaminated and cause sever health concerns. This is when the FDA banned this amino acid.

Coincidentally, the FDA ban of L-Tryptophan and the Newsweek Prozac cover story occurred within four days of each other went unnoticed by both the media and the public. Yet, to those who understand the effective properties of L-Tryptophan and Prozac, the concurrence seems “unbelievably coincidental.” The link here is the brain neurotransmitter serotonin, a biochemical nerve signal conductor. The action of Prozac and L-Tryptophan are both involved with serotonin, but in totally different ways.

Elevated levels of serotonin in the body often result in the relief of depression, as well as substantial reduction in pain sensitivity, anxiety and stress. Prozac, as well as other new anti-depressant drugs such as Paxil and Zoloft, attempt to enhance levels of serotonin by working on whatever amounts of it already exist in the body (these drugs are known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors).

Birds. Birds. Birds. Did I tell you I love birds? I love to watch them. I love to read about them. I talk to them. I listen for them. I dodge their droppings! Wear a hat!

So is it any wonder that I have lots of birding guides? And if one gets crumpled in the wear and tear of field use, I give it a rest and use another.  Or when the binding finally goes and the pages fall out of my birding guides I will actually buy a new birding guide. I know. I know it is a bit frivolous but it is a passion of mine.

Naturally I have bird binoculars too. And that is more than one pair. I use my favorite bird binoculars most often. Those are the compact Bushnell binoculars that I can put in my pocket and take with me almost anywhere.  Most people prefer a larger 8X42 model for their favorite bird binoculars but that is ok. I can take my Nikon 10×50 bird binoculars with me if I choose.

I have my wish list for bird binoculars and it includes Swarovski 10X42 but since they are so pricey, I added a compromise in my bird binoculars wish list. I think I would like a set of Vortex 10×42 Vipers. However, since I always choose my compacts unless it is a serious bird trip I would be delighted with Leica Ultravid 10×25 compact bird binoculars instead. Then there is my spotting scope that I will tell you about in another article.

And then you are all done and all of the formalities have been observed.

When I started to learn marketing online it was so exciting. I studied and eventually learned how to publish my very first website and started actually making a nice little income on the side with Adsense. That same site almost 5 years later pays my bills and has allowed me to quit my job. I am so grateful that I started my journey when I did and had the faith to continue when I thought I would give up. I recently started looking for some other way to diversify my online income.I considered all sorts of different things, and tried a few.

I tried selling stuff on Yahoo using dropshippers for paintball guns. It took me a couple months to learn how to do the graphics, study up on the subject, write content about it all and set up a merchant account. I spent like 40.00 per month on the site, and in 3 months managed to get one order. Yes, one. I excitedly packed it up and mailed it off the very next day and got an angry letter from the customer asking why it was taking so long. How could I help that it was all the way across the country and that it would take 5 days to get there..? Anyway, the next week came another order. One made with a stolen credit card. What a headache.

And after all of my trouble I didn’t even break even on the gun because of all of the merchant account charges. There just wasn’t enough profit. Other people were undoubtedly making this work but I wasn’t.

Unfortunately, many people make the mistake of believing that you cannot lose weight while on a juice diet.  This is not true.  When on a juice fast, you eliminate solid foods.  That allow will reduce your calorie intake and help you shed the pounds.  Yes, you may not lose as much weight on a juice fast as you would fasting on water, but you will notice a difference.  Even still, a juice fast is recommended for improvement of overall health and wellbeing; it should not be used only as a weight loss plan.

The three main geographic regions on the mainland are:

• The coast also designated “La Costa” on the Pacific Ocean
• The highlands also designated “La Sierra” which means the mountain range of the Andes running from North to South through the whole state
• and the Amazon rainforest also named “El Oriente”.

The Galapagos Islands – the fourth region is an insular region in the Pacific Ocean.

All this makes Ecuador to one of the most variegated states in the world. Ecuador is besides Chile the only country in South America that has no border to Brazil. In the north you find Columbia, in the east and south Peru and in the west there is the Pacific Ocean. The name Ecuador emanatesfrom fact that the country is located at the equator. This explains also the small variation in daylight hours over the year.

We discovered a part of the Andes doing some trekking. Main aim was to climb the volcano called “Cotopaxi”. Cotopaxi is 5.897 m high and is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world and the second highest mountain in Ecuador. Because it is so high it is important to acclimate before climbing this mountain. So we did some other ascents before to volcanoes like “Rucu Pichincha” near to the capital Quito and the “lliniza Norte”.

These trips were only amazing, just imagine standing there over 5.000 m on the top of a mountain after walking from midnight to the sunrise through the darkness and then all of a sudden the sun rises it gets bright and you are looking to the valley above seeing the sun rising above the clouds and there is nothing else just the glacier that twinkles in the sunlight and the sun shines so bright that you nearly cannot see – only the blue sky behind… you cannot describe it you have to experience it – it is amazing…

My conclusion for this trip is that it was just perfect for Anden Trekking. The diversity of this country makes it a worthwhile experiences.
