I have recently been thinking about selling my house and as with all things similar to this have been trying to work out what the best path to make the house look good before we either sell our house or remain in it for a bit longer. I started by looking at various rooms in the house and considering what I could do to improve them and iron out the issues I might have had about them.

The heart of my house is the kitchen so I began by considering the kitchen layout, our kitchen is a fitted kitchen which works quite well with a useful work space (luckily I spoke to a local kitchen company about kitchen planning before purchasing). The floor had problems with only lino down which had got a little ripped up as I had moved washing machines and fridges about in it. I got some tiling advice from a local company to get the floor tiles that would blend in with the fitted kitchen ensuring that the room didn’t look to dark (just a few of the small things you have to think about when you come to sell your house, first impressions need to be just right within the short time people have to view your house).

I then wanted to make sure the bathroom looked good, my bathroom layout was a bit cramped due to some fitted cupboards which when taken out gave me masses more room (which if you are going on initial view could help sell my house). First I gave her a bath. That seemed to get ride of some fleas but they were back in no time. Then I decide to go purchase some flea control at the pet store. I decided to try Frontline after I asked a few other dog owners what worked best for them. With in 2 hours I noticed that I did not see anymore fleas. I was really impressed. Right after I applied the Frontline my dog ran around my house rolling on the ground trying to get the medicine off. What she didn’t know is that in a few hours she would be flea free. The fishing is also incredible for avid fisherman.  You can expect to catch a variety of Rainbow, Brook, and Brown trout in the streams of the Rocky Mountains.

Shopping in Colorado is not too much different than anywhere else except when it comes the mountain real estate.  Great real estate investments in Colorado are available these days.  The prices have adjusted to a point where it makes great sense to get property that has a world class location.

Having recently considered selling my house and as with all subjects like this have been attempting to work out what the best path to make the house look good before we either sell our house or stay in it for a bit longer. I started by looking at different rooms in the house and thinking about what I might do to improve them and iron out the issues I might have had about them.

I then took out as much clutter as I could and boxed everything that wasn’t essential away in the garage. Be selective with your focus

Finding cheap air tickets to India is easy during the monsoon season. But as the weather gets better, the prices go up.

This fall a flight from JFK to Mumbai can be for a little as $469 plus taxes for a round trip ticket. This flight does have 1 stopover in Kuwait City and is on Kuwait Airways.

The next lowest flight from JFK to Mumbai is for $625 plus taxes for a one person round trip ticket. This is on Jet Airways. The stop over is in Brussels Belgium.

Air India has a direct flight from JFK to Mumbai for $675 plus taxes on a round trip ticket. This flight is schedule as a red eye and will arrive the evening after it leaves.

There are other flights but at this time of the year these are the lowest. Qatar Airways is offering a round trip ticket from JFK to Mumbai from just under $800 with one stop over in the Middle East.

Only Air India offers non-stop flights from North America to India. For those that like an adventure, these routes are polar routes. Some of which will fly over the highest point on earth, the Himalayan mountains. The reason the polar routes are taken is because it is the shortest distance from North America.

The internet has offers stating round trip tickets from NY to India for under $300, but once on the site, the fare is unobtainable through normal search patterns. Just like the tire for sale at $19.95. It only fits one car made 20 years ago, this flight is very rare and unless you get lucky, your cheap air tickets to India will cost more.

Imagine surprising your partner with a short hotel stay, or some delivered chocolates.  I don’t mean the cheap and cheerful kind, but the really luxurious kind, that spells romance in three foot high letters.  The sort of surprise that really takes someone’s breath away.
